 Introducing the “Franz Beckenbauer Supercup 2025” Identity by NXTID

At NXTID, we’re proud to unveil our latest work: the visual identity for the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup 2025: a dynamic tribute to one of football’s greatest legends.

Why this project matters:

Honoring legacy: Starting in 2025, the German Supercup officially carries the name of Franz Beckenbauer, celebrating his monumental impact as both player and manager.

Designing for tradition and innovation: Our identity system reflects the historic prestige of German football while bringing a bold, modern aesthetic to the competition.

A stage of excellence: The inaugural edition under this new name took place on August 16, 2025 at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart, featuring VfB Stuttgart and Bayern Munich.

We were responsible for the complete OOH design (stadium, banners, and environmental branding), as well as the visual identity for social media and broadcasting—delivered in total collaboration with the Bundesliga, to whom we extend our deepest gratitude for the trust.

At NXTID, we specialize in shaping brands for clubs, leagues, and competitions worldwide. This project allowed us to merge storytelling, design, and football culture into a visual identity that stands the test of time.
